How to Tie a silk scarf
Posted by Charlotta Backlund on
If you're not already a silk scarf wearer, it can be a little bit tricky and sometimes daunting to work out how to wear them. That's why we decided to give you a quick rundown of our 5 favourite ways to wear our classic squares around the neck.
The Easy
This can be layered and draped over any neckline. The draped effect gives it a casual nonchalant feel while still looking luxe.
- Fold into a triangle
- Adjust to your desirable length
- Tie it at the back with a double knot

The Knot
This works best when worn over a top that shows some skin. Think scoop, V or square neckline.
- Fold into a triangle
- Start from the middle point and fold continuously into a 6-8cm wide scarf
- Wrap it around your neck and secure loosely with a double knot

The Back
For the more fashion forward and directional person. Open back or plain clean lines are key to pull this off.
- Fold into a triangle
- Start from the middle point and fold continuously into a 6-8cm wide scarf
- Wrap it around your neck and secure tightly with a double knot at the back

The Double
We know this isn't what our gorgeous model is wearing, but we love this with a crisp shirt and the first few buttons opened.
- Fold into a triangle
- Wrap the points around your back
- Pull the ponts to the front and secure with a double knot

The Cape
Add some interest to your back by draping it over your back and shoulders. Its the opposite to 'The Easy'
- Fold into a triangle
- Adjust to your desirable length
- Tie it at the front with a double knot
