FRANKIE PEACH is an Australian contemporary silk brand established in 2017.
Creative Director and Founder, Charlotta Backlund, has drawn on her 11 years of experience as a fashion stylist (most recently as Fashion Director of Cosmopolitan magazine), to create a brand for strong, independent women who want to stand out from the crowd.
Our scarves are inspired by Charlotta’s Scandinavian heritage and her love for travel, fashion and art. Our prints are exclusively designed by us. We use only the finest 100% silk twill and our square scarves are finished with hand-rolled hems.
You might ask, why silk scarves? Well, the idea came from Charlotta’s original FRANKIE PEACH co-founder and breast cancer survivor, Sali Sasi. When Sali was going through treatment, she couldn’t find any aordable silk scarves to wear and knew this gap in the market should be addressed. She put the idea to Charlotta who, having seen hundreds of accessories companies come and go, immediately agreed that it was a great idea.
But FRANKIE PEACH isn’t just about looking good; we want to DO good, too. That’s why we’ve partnered up with PINK HOPE, an organisation that aims to help women reduce their risk of breast and ovarian cancer. $1 from every FRANKIE PEACH sale will be donated to help save lives and empower women to assess, understand and reduce their risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
