FRANKIE PEACH was established in 2017 by friends Sali Sasi and Charlotta Backlund in Sydney. The founders’ backgrounds form an ideal synergy, with Sasi bringing her expertise as an ecommerce entrepreneur having cofounded Stylerunner, and Backlund bringing her 10 years’ of fashion and styling experience, most recently as fashion director of Cosmopolitan.
Why the name? When Sasi was expecting her second child in 2016, she and her husband Nathan had their hearts set on the name Frankie Rose for a girl but, as luck would have it, they had a boy. So when it came to naming the brand, Frankie Rose was immediately at the top of the list. Unfortunately, that name was taken, so Nathan randomly said, ‘What about Peach?’ The domain and business name were both available, so they were snapped up. Now if the couple decide to have another child and she’s a girl, she’ll be Frankie Peach. Well, maybe!
FRANKIE PEACH isn’t just about looking good; we want to DO good too.
That’s why we’ve partnered up with PINK HOPE, an organisation that aims to help women reduce their risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
With FRANKIE PEACH founder Sali Sasi being a breast cancer survivor herself, and founder Charlotta Backlund supporting close friends through it, it’s a cause close to both their hearts.
$1 from every FRANKIE PEACH sale will be donated to help save lives and empower women to assess, understand and reduce their risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
