Not gonna lie—6sense is a beast when it comes to intent-based ABM. But unless you’ve got a fat budget and a seasoned ops team, it’s kinda overkill. If you’re looking for tools that help you actually do the work—build solid outreach lists, enrich leads, and close deals—without the enterprise-level headache, you’re in the right place.

These are the lead generation companies and tools I’ve actually used that stack up against 6sense (and in some cases, outshine it).

    1. ZoomInfo – The Enterprise Data Juggernaut

    zoominfo_1

How it works: Massive B2B leads database with everything—contacts, org charts, buying signals, intent data, technographics, you name it.

    What I like:

    • Laser-targeted filters.

    • Intent data is 🔥 for timing outreach.

    • Seamless CRM integrations.

    What I don’t like:

    • Price is brutal (mid to high 4 figures/yr).

    • UI isn’t the smoothest.

Pricing: Custom quotes. Not cheap, but worth it if you need deep data + intent.

Verdict: A solid 6sense alternative if you want that deep account intel and don’t mind the price tag.

    2. RocketReach – Fast & Focused Email Finder

    rocketreach_1

How it works: Search contacts by name, domain, or company. Pulls direct emails + phone numbers instantly.

    What I like:

    • Clean UX, super intuitive.

    • Accurate personal + work emails.

    • Affordable vs. big-name tools.

    What I don’t like:

    • Lacks intent or deep firmographics.

    • Not great for large-scale list building.

    Pricing: Starts at $53/mo.

Verdict: Best for reps and founders who need a fast, affordable contact finder. Not a full-stack lead gen platform, but still clutch.

    3. Kaspr – LinkedIn Scraper With Real-Time Data

    kaspr_1

How it works: Chrome extension that scrapes emails and phone numbers from LinkedIn profiles. Works while you browse.

    What I like:

    • Live data pulls from LinkedIn.

    • Simple interface—no fluff.

    • Good for EU prospects (GDPR-friendly).

    What I don’t like:

    • Not much company-level data.

    • Still growing on integration side.

    Pricing: Starts at €49/mo.

Verdict: If LinkedIn is your main hunting ground, Kaspr’s a beast. Think of it like a sniper vs. a shotgun.

    4. LeadIQ – Prospecting Made Practical

    leadiq_1

How it works: Pulls contact info from LinkedIn, enriches it, and syncs to your CRM or email tool.

    What I like:

    • Built for SDRs.

    • CRM + Outreach integration is smooth.

    • Good quality B2B leads.

    What I don’t like:

    • Credit system is annoying.

    • UI can feel sluggish.

    Pricing: Starts around $75/user/month.

Verdict: A great pick if your sales team lives on LinkedIn and needs an efficient workflow to capture and work leads.

    5. Apollo.io – The Sales OS That Just Works

    apollo_1

How it works: Full B2B lead generation platform—contacts, email sequences, CRM functions, analytics, the whole nine.

    What I like:

    • Massive B2B contact database.

    • Built-in cold email system = fewer tools needed.

    • Free plan is actually useful.

    What I don’t like:

    • UI can get buggy.

    • Data quality isn’t always top-tier.

Pricing: Free tier available. Paid starts at $49/mo.

Verdict: Best bang-for-buck 6sense alternative. If you’re a lean team looking to scale outbound fast, Apollo is it.

    6. SalesIntel – Human-Verified B2B Leads

    salesintel_1

How it works: Combines automated scraping with a team of humans who double-check contact data. Huge for accuracy.

    What I like:

    • Insanely accurate contact info.

    • Firmographic + technographic filters.

    • Buyer intent signals included.

    What I don’t like:

    • Not as many international leads.

    • Interface feels a bit clunky.

Pricing: Starts around $99/mo (custom plans for teams).

Verdict: A killer 6sense alternative if clean, accurate B2B leads are your top priority.

    7. Leadswift – Fast & Simple B2B Scraper

    leadswift_1

How it works: Scrapes leads from platforms like Google Maps, LinkedIn, Yelp, etc., with email + phone included.

    What I like:

    • Super fast list building.

    • Great for local businesses.

    • Easy to use—even if you’re not techy.

    What I don’t like:

    • Basic interface.

    • Hit or miss on email validity.

Pricing: One-time fee model (~$47–$97 depending on license).

Verdict: Great for agencies and freelancers. Not a full CRM-integrated tool, but does the job for raw lead scraping.

    8. LeadScrape – Downloadable Business Leads Lists

    leadscrape_1

How it works: Software for pulling contact info based on niche, location, industry, etc.

    What I like:

    • No monthly fees—just a one-time license.

    • Solid local targeting.

    • Finds websites + emails + socials.

    What I don’t like:

    • No automation or CRM sync.

    • Mostly for U.S. leads.

Pricing: One-time ~$197 for full version.

Verdict: Useful if you’re building cold lead lists manually and want a budget-friendly lead generation database.

    9. Skrapp – Lightweight Email Finder for LinkedIn

    skrapp_1

How it works: Chrome extension + dashboard for pulling verified B2B emails from LinkedIn.

    What I like:

    • Easy email verification.

    • Simple and clean UX.

    • Affordable.

    What I don’t like:

    • Lacks enrichment or workflows.

    • No phone numbers.

Pricing: Free plan + paid from $49/mo.

Verdict: Budget-friendly option for basic contact data collection. Perfect for small sales teams and freelancers.

    10. Snov.io – Cold Email + Lead Gen Combo

    snov_1

How it works: Find leads, verify emails, and send cold email sequences—all in one platform.

    What I like:

    • End-to-end workflow.

    • Email drip campaigns built-in.

    • Chrome extension works great.

    What I don’t like:

    • Data accuracy could be better.

    • UI takes getting used to.

Pricing: Free tier + paid from $39/month.

Verdict: Solid Apollo or 6sense alternative if you want a simple, low-cost sales engagement suite.

    11. GetProspect – Email Finder With CRM Features

    getprospect_1

How it works: Pulls contact info via name, company, or domain. Built-in lead management tools.

    What I like:

    • Super clean UI.

    • Decent CRM for list management.

    • Integrates with LinkedIn.

    What I don’t like:

    • Limited enrichment.

    • No phone numbers.

Pricing: Free plan + paid from $49/mo.

Verdict: Easy starter tool if you’re just beginning with B2B outreach. Good for solo founders or small teams.

    12. TaskDrive – Human-Powered Lead Research

    taskdrive_1

How it works: You outsource lead research to real humans who manually build and qualify your B2B lead lists.

    What I like:

    • Hyper-targeted lead gen.

    • Saves tons of SDR time.

    • Flexible based on campaign needs.

    What I don’t like:

    • Not instant—takes 2–3 days.

    • Pricier than self-service tools.

    Pricing: Custom per project.

Verdict: Amazing for niche targeting, account-based marketing, or when you need curated business contacts, not bulk.

    13. LeadFuze – AI-Based Lead Generation Engine

    leadfuze_1

How it works: You create a “Fuzebot” that automatically finds leads based on criteria like job title, tech stack, company size, etc.

    What I like:

    • AI lead finder saves time.

    • Great for email campaigns.

    • Finds verified emails + phone numbers.

    What I don’t like:

    • Small-ish database.

    • Data quality can be hit-or-miss.

    Pricing: From $147/month.

Verdict: Best for small teams that want a “set it and forget it” lead generation tool. Not as deep as 6sense, but way less effort.

    14. Instantly.ai – Cold Email at Scale

    instantly_1

How it works: Built purely for sending cold emails using multiple inboxes, warm-up automation, and deliverability tracking.

    What I like:

    • Email deliverability tools are 🔥.

    • Unlimited sending accounts.

    • Super scalable for outbound.

    What I don’t like:

    • No lead database—you need to bring your own.

    • Takes time to warm inboxes up properly.

    Pricing: Starts at $37/mo.

Verdict: Use this with a tool like Apollo or Snov.io. Great for blasting campaigns with clean deliverability.

    15. Brevo – All-in-One Email & CRM Platform

    brevo_1

How it works: Formerly Sendinblue. Email marketing + basic CRM + automations.

    What I like:

    • Super affordable.

    • Good for nurturing + newsletters.

    • CRM and email workflows under one roof.

    What I don’t like:

    • Not built for cold outreach.

    • Lacks advanced B2B filters.

Pricing: Free tier + paid from $25/month.

Verdict: Great for email marketing, not lead gen. Use it after you collect business leads elsewhere.

    16. Leadzai – AI-Powered Ad Campaigns for Lead Gen

    leadzai_1

How it works: Helps you run AI-optimized paid ad campaigns (Google, FB, Insta) focused on lead generation.

    What I like:

    • Super hands-off.

    • Clean dashboard + good reports.

    • Ideal for service businesses.

    What I don’t like:

    • Not built for cold outreach or email.

    • More SMB-focused than B2B SaaS.

    Pricing: Starts around $99/mo.

Verdict: Think of it as performance-based lead gen via ads. A totally different route than 6sense, but still useful for warm leads.

    17. Leadfeeder – Website Visitor Tracking Tool

    leadfeeder_1

How it works: Identifies anonymous B2B website visitors and shows you company details, behavior, and source.

    What I like:

    • Tells you who is on your site.

    • Syncs with CRMs and email tools.

    • Great for retargeting and ABM.

    What I don’t like:

    • Limited contact info—needs enrichment.

    • Not great if your traffic is low.

Pricing: Free plan + paid starts at $139/mo.

Verdict: Awesome for intent-based follow-up. Pairs perfectly with cold email tools or SDRs doing outbound.

    18. UpLead – Clean, Verified B2B Leads

    uplead_1

How it works: Real-time email verification, filters galore (industry, revenue, tech stack), and easy exports.

    What I like:

    • 95%+ email accuracy.

    • Tech stack filtering is 🔥.

    • GDPR + CCPA compliant.

    What I don’t like:

    • UI feels a little old-school.

    • Smaller database than ZoomInfo or Apollo.

    Pricing: Starts at $99/mo.

Verdict: If you’re tired of bouncing emails, UpLead’s worth it. Leaner than 6sense but rock-solid on data quality.

    19. Lead411 – Intent + Enrichment Combo

    lead411_1

How it works: Offers B2B contacts, email verification, intent signals (via Bombora), and enrichment.

    What I like:

    • Built-in intent + trigger events.

    • US-based support team is on point.

    • Seamless CRM syncs.

    What I don’t like:

    • Some data is U.S.-centric.

    • UI needs a facelift.

    Pricing: From $99/mo.

Verdict: A budget-friendly 6sense alternative if you’re into intent data but want something more nimble.

    20. Overloop – Cold Email Outreach Platform

    overloop_1

How it works: Build cold email sequences, automate follow-ups, and manage contacts. Previously known as Prospect.io.

    What I like:

    • Built for outreach teams.

    • Sequence builder is 🔥.

    • Zapier + CRM integrations.

    What I don’t like:

    • No lead database—you bring your own.

    • Deliverability tools are basic.

    Pricing: Starts at $49/mo.

Verdict: Pair this with Apollo or UpLead for a complete B2B outreach stack. Not a direct 6sense swap, but great for follow-ups.

    21. Hunter.io – Simple Email Finder

    hunter_1

How it works: Search by domain or company name and get verified business email addresses.

    What I like:

    • Super simple + fast.

    • Email verification tool is solid.

    • Free plan is generous.

    What I don’t like:

    • Very limited enrichment.

    • No phone numbers.

Pricing: Free + paid plans from $49/mo.

Verdict: My go-to for quick contact grabs. Not for deep prospecting, but perfect for freelancers or early-stage teams.

    22. Coldlytics – AI Meets Human Research

    coldlytics_1

How it works: You submit lead requirements, and real humans + AI deliver fresh, qualified contacts.

    What I like:

    • Completely hands-off.

    • High accuracy rates.

    • Real-time delivery.

    What I don’t like:

    • Not instant—takes 1–2 days.

    • You pay per batch.

    Pricing: Pay-per-lead or subscription-based.

Verdict: Perfect if you’re tired of junk data. Way more accurate than scraping tools.

    23. Seamless.ai – AI-Based Lead Generator

    seamless_1

How it works: Searches millions of contacts in real-time and verifies them with AI. Built for scaling outreach.

    What I like:

    • Live data + verification.

    • Tons of filters.

    • Works inside LinkedIn.

    What I don’t like:

    • Aggressive upsells.

    • UI is… chaotic.

    Pricing: Starts free, then ~$147+/mo.

Verdict: A flashy 6sense competitor. Gets the job done, but feels a bit salesy at times.

    24. LeadsGorilla – Local Business Lead Finder

    leadsgorilla_1

How it works: Scrapes leads from Google Maps, Yelp, Facebook, and more. Includes contact info, site audits, etc.

    What I like:

    • Niche-focused (great for local SEO or agencies).

    • Easy reporting.

    • One-time pricing model.

    What I don’t like:

    • Not built for SaaS/B2B.

    • Interface is clunky.

    Pricing: One-time ~$47.

Verdict: If you sell to brick-and-mortar or SMBs, this tool is money. Not useful for B2B SaaS or enterprise.

    25. Lusha – Speedy B2B Contact Finder

    lusha_1

    What I don’t like:

    • Strict data limits.

    • Some data can be outdated.

Pricing: Free plan + paid from $29/mo.

Verdict: SDRs love this one. A lighter, faster alternative to ZoomInfo or 6sense.

    26. Clay – The Ultimate Data Automation Tool

    clay_1

How it works: Combines 50+ data sources with Zapier-like automations to create enriched prospect lists on steroids.

    What I like:

    • Insane customizability.

    • Connects to APIs, CRMs, Notion, you name it.

    • Automates enrichment, scraping, outreach prep.

    What I don’t like:

    • Steep learning curve.

    • Not for non-techies.

    Pricing: Starts at $149/mo.

Verdict: Clay is magic if you love building custom workflows. Think “Zapier for B2B lead gen.” Total power-user tool.

    27. Datanyze – Chrome Extension for B2B Prospecting

    datanyze_1

How it works: Pulls contact data from LinkedIn + company sites and gives tech stack info.

    What I like:

    • Great for SaaS targeting (tech stack filters).

    • No fluff, just the data.

    What I don’t like:

    • Limited export options.

    • No outreach tools.

    Pricing: ~$29/mo.

Verdict: Budget-friendly tech prospecting tool. A nice supplement to outreach platforms like Instantly or Overloop.

    28. Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) – Enterprise-Level Data & Insights

    dnb_1

How it works: Deep company insights, firmographics, risk reports, financials, and contact info for large-scale B2B accounts.

    What I like:

    • Trusted brand in enterprise data.

    • Compliance-ready + verified data.

    • Great for big enterprise targeting.

    What I don’t like:

    • Expensive AF.

    • Overkill for small teams.

    Pricing: Custom (expect $$$$)

Verdict: Only go D&B if you’re doing enterprise sales or need high-trust lead data for Fortune 500s. Definitely in the 6sense league—but pricier.

    Final Wrap-Up

If you’ve made it this far—respect. Here’s how I’d stack ’em:

    • Best for budget hunters: Snov.io, Skrapp, GetProspect

    • Best for deep data & intent: ZoomInfo, SalesIntel, Lead411

    • Best for automation nerds: Clay, Apollo, Seamless.ai

    • Best for local/small biz targeting: LeadsGorilla, LeadScrape

    • Best cold email stack: Instantly + UpLead + Overloop

    • Best enterprise-grade: D&B, 6sense (still solid if you’ve got the cash)

Need help stitching a full stack together for your team? I got you. Just drop me a note and we’ll cook up something that actually gets results.
